Hi friends-
I hope everyone had a nice weekend celebrating, honoring or remembering any Dads or Father figures in your life! We have a busy week behind the scenes, as many of you know July is one of the busiest, if not the busiest month for us in business because of all the big sales events that are going on. So we are getting ahead of as much as possible! I was also presented with a really exciting, pretty big deal business opportunity last week, so we are going to be heads down on that, so if we are quieter on stories that is why. I know it is super annoying when content creators are vague about these opportunities, but I truly want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of Everyday Best Buy. This community is small but mighty, and your engagement by brands is definitely recognized! As a small business owner in this industry, it often feels like I am in a sea of influencers just riding the waves of social media and weathering what comes at me, but in times like this I remind myself that we are also very strategic and business oriented and are given opportunities for a reason too. Anyways…
Here is this week's brain dump:
-My husband has really been into short sleeve button up knit tops, he is all about comfort and much prefers a knit over a stiff button up shirt in warmer months. I recently bought him this one from Target and this one from J.Crew Factory that he is loving! Both run true to size.
-One of the most common questions last week was about swimwear for women, specifically one pieces. We did a community poll and Summersalt was by far the favorite brand due to it's quality, coverage and range of styles. They have a very clear range of butt coverage which they note by style and also offer long torso in most of their styles. The most popular one piece mentioned in the poll was the Ruffle Backflip.
-My entire family is going on vacation in July to Bend, OR! My siblings and I have 7 kids between us, so I got all of the cousins these adorable matching Little Sleepies summer camp pajamas for the vacation.
-My oldest son started at a new summer camp last week. He needs to have everything labeled and I ran out of his name labels, so I ordered another set. If you need labels for anything from kids clothes to water bottles to lunch boxes or even shoes, I cannot recommend these enough. They come in lots of fun themes and each set has 3 different size labels.
-My son will be going into 1st grade in the Fall and I had asked his teacher a few ways we can keep up with things like reading and math over the summer. Besides going to the library every week, he also started this Summer Bridge book last week. It is an activity book that he is really loving, you do just a couple pages a day and it is helping him keep up on things like his letters, math, reading, etc. There are books for each grade level!
-If you have followed me for a while you know I am very passionate about the portable bottle warmer for warm bottles on the go with a baby. I discovered it with my 3rd child and truly don’t know how I survived without it with my first two. Actually I do, I had janky swell bottles of boiling water on air planes to make bottles on the go lol. Mini Portable Air Pump - If you are still struggling to blow up inflatable toys for your kids, please do your lungs a favor. This mini portable air pump is amazing. We keep ours on our boat for rafts, but it’s awesome for anything from inflatable pools, balls or pool toys.

Target Barrel Jeans
I bought these olive barrel jeans from Target last week and let me tell you they are so cute. They also come in a fun denim wash and black. The fabric is a nice utility lightweight fabric, great for summer. I found them to run a little big so I sized down!

Target Denim Short
I am forever on the hunt for a good pair of denim shorts that don’t break the bank and I really love these Target ones! They are the same material as the Barrel jeans Meggie loved above, and are roomier in the hip and thigh!! They run true to size. I bought this hat to and love that it can be western but also a regular sun hat (the rim has a wire in it that you can press flat), I am trying to be better about covering my face when I am outside all day!

Women's Target New Arrivals
I stopped in Target and of course left with a cart full! All of these styles are so easy and cute. Karlie bought the barrel jeans last week and I loved them so much I had to get them + so many casual dresses for summer. Most items ran a little big, I sized down in everything except the black exercise dress and the cream crochet dress I got my true size. Also, the exercise dress is a style that has the open back bike shorts so you don’t have to pull the whole dress down to use the restroom.
