Hi friends-
I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend celebrating Memorial Day and kicking off what officially feels like summer. We have less than 10 days of school left and I'm sure every parent right now is wondering how another school year has come and gone! I spent the weekend celebrating one of my best friend's bachelorette parties in Michigan and then soaked up some lake time back home. My sister-in-law and I are also doing a rummage sale later this week, so we spent a good chunk of Memorial Day finishing up sorting through the chaos. Man, between 6 kids, we have what feels like hundreds of bins that have been passed back and forth for 7 years and we found ourselves simultaneously sobbing/smelling all of our favorite baby clothes, while also feeling so accomplished and happy to finally do this daunting task.
Anyways, this week's brain dump:
-I put together a list of kid sports essentials that we have bought over the years. If your child is wanting to try a new sport and you have no idea what to buy, this list is a good place to start.
-My husband desperately needed new shoes for work so I got him these two new pair of comfy Cole Haan's that are on major discount. The brown run TTS and black run a little big, size down a half size.
-Tula recently launched an SPF version of my favorite 24/7 Moisturizer and I have been using it every morning to make sure I am protected from the sun now that we are spending so much time outside.
-Karlie and I were out shopping last week and we both bought this sweater tank from Old Navy! It runs TTS and will be perfect to pair with denim or denim shorts in the summer.
-My daughter was begging to buy Crocs after so many of her friends at school had them and so we finally got her first pair. Why are they so cute on kids?? And they surprisingly stay on really well when she is running around.
-Target just brought in family matching baby + toddler styles for the 4th of July in swimsuits and outfits that are so stinking cute and they are all $10 or less!
Let's get you up to speed on what you may have missed last week! xo

Picaridin Spray - The number one seller by a long shot was this non-toxic bug spray! I have been using for years on my family and it is so effective without a greasy or smelly after scent. Ok to use on kids ages 2 months and older!
Octopus Pool Toys - You are all loving these octopus water toys! These are great for young kids who can’t dive yet but want a toy to play with in the pool.
Splash Pad - Our favorite splash pad is still on sale and is such a fun water toy for hot days! We use our Little Tikes slide and the kids have a blast.
Plug In Fly Trap - The fly trap you didn’t think you needed until now. Just plug It in and let it do its thing. Catches fruit flies, gnats, small flying insects etc.
Popsicle Drip Holder - These silicone popsicle holders are awesome to minimize messes and they have a little straw for kids to suck up the leftovers that melted.
Kids Visual Calendar
With the school year winding down, I cannot recommend this visual calendar for kids enough! It is so helpful for kids to wrap their head around days of the week and when to anticipate things. With summer schedules packed and likely much different than the routine of the school year, I especially like it this time of year. I think its best for kids ages 3.5 and up. I suggest betting the pre-made version so it is all assembled for you. My code ‘15EVERYDAYBESTBUY’ always gets you 15% off.
Tortoise Sunnies
I always buy a new pair of sunglasses for the season and recently got these ones and love! Meggie and I both own the Wearme Pro Round Retro style ones and are obsessed so I knew I would like these just as much!

Father's Day Gift Guide
Dads are hard to shop for. I usually aim to give my dad a shared experience, but if you’re looking for something to wrap up, I like to go the practical route—especially with essentials they’ll use all summer long. And if you don’t want to spend a ton, don’t underestimate the power of a sentimental gift. A mug or pair of socks with their kids’ faces might seem a little cheesy, but they’re guaranteed to use them—and smile every time they do.
Thanks for Shopping with me,
xoxo Meggie
