The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: What I recommend shopping!
and the sale is good this year!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale only happens once a year! It is a great time to stock up on really popular brands and products at discounted prices, many of which are exclusive items/colors to Nordstrom and this sale! GOOD NEWS = the products are good this year. I have been covering this sale for 4 years and last year it felt very redundant to years past, but this year there are fresh brands that have never been included and fun styles.
In my opinion, the best categories to shop in the sale are baby gear, shoes for the whole family and beauty. The popular items do sell out fast, so I suggest pre-shopping the sale and adding anything you want to your wish list. Everything that will be on sale is already visible on their website! Nordstrom stair steps access to the sale based on how often you shop with them, the most popular dates for access to shop are:
July 10th aka tomorrow = card holders get access (tonight at midnight!!)
July 12th = public access (midnight on the 11th)

Baby gear is the best category to shop if you are in the market for a high ticket item, but beware the hot items sell out fast. The Doona is my favorite baby product I have ever owned and it’s $150 off. Other hot sellers are the Nuna Rava Convertible Car Seat and the Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair. New to the sale this year are the Slumberpod, two versions of the WonderFold Wagon and the WAYB Pico Car Seat all linked below.
The NSale is a good time to stock up on multi packs of some of your favorite beauty products. The Donna Karan deodorant 3 pack sells out every year. One of my new favorite products is the Salt & Stone body wash and I guarantee it will go fast!
The most popular shoe brand during the sale are On sneakers for women and men. This style for women is one of their most popular! I love these Adidas Gazelles which are part of the sale and if you do weight training, you know this Nike style is one of the most popular shoes for that. And I can’t forget to mention socks, once you wear Bombas socks you get the hype and this pack of Bombas ankle socks sells out every year.
Women’s fashion can be so personal, but brands that stand out to me that are part of the sale are Farm Rio, Spanx, Zella, AG & Paige denim, Madewell and Longchamp.
One thing I shop every year during the sale is new shoes for my kids for back to school. They always need new sneakers and great brands and style are included! These Adidas Gazelles that come in baby/toddler sizing come in 2 colors and I am obsessed. And I have these metallic cowgirl boots on my wishlist for my daughter.
These floral Converse are 50% off in the sale and sure to go fast. Uggs are another popular brand for older kids during the sale and this year they have Ugg slippers and Ugg Classic Short boots included.
A new brand to the sale this year is Magnetic Me, some of my favorite baby onesies that have magnetic closures (they would make a great gift)! Other good brands for kids include Nike, Mini Boden and Tucker + Tate all linked below.
Like women, sneakers from On, Adidas and Nike will be shopped first. I also always recommend you look at Cole Haan if your husband or a guy in your life needs an upgrade to their dressier shoes. They make ultra comfortable Cole Haan Oxford that look nice with the comfort of a sneaker and 4 different colors are included in the sale.
A new very popular brand included this year is Away luggage in two different colors and 4 sizes of their spinner luggage, we have done polls on the best luggage and Away is always the winner. I also have to mention my love of Nordstrom’s Hydrocotton towels that are included. If you are looking for a premium bath towel that is plush and stays soft with time they are my favorite.
